Made these videos some time ago, but forgot to post them here:
Just a few notes (really, pointers for atheists who would like to speak/debate with me in the future) based on the conversations I’ve had recently due to my “Why I’m not an atheist” series:
- I am not “endoctrinated” [sic], whatever that means.
- “A straw man argument is an informal fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent’s position. To ‘attack a straw man’ is to create the illusion of having refuted a proposition by substituting a superficially similar yet unequivalent proposition (the ‘straw man’), and refuting it, without ever having actually refuted the original position.” (Source: Wikipedia)
- If you raise an argument which you clearly think is wonderful and original but which I have already addressed within the very post you think yourself to be refuting, it becomes very clear very quickly that you didn’t actually read the post. Don’t attempt to argue against something you haven’t even taken the time to read; it makes you look foolish.
- If you’re going to attempt to “refute Christianity” you may want to actually learn something about Christianity. Don’t attempt to argue against something you haven’t even taken the time to learn about; it makes you look foolish.
You who created all things in Your infinite wisdom, and set the times by Your own authority, grant Your Christian people victories. Blessing our comings and goings throughout this year, guide our works according to Your divine will.
